Alaska General Services , Equatorial Guinea S.L, was founded in 2022 with the intent to support all multinational companies, service providers operating in the country. As a key player in the provision and support of services , we also see the need to keep promoting the Equatorial Guinea government initiatives and plans in the local market.
Safety remains the core value in Alaska General Services (AGS). AGS’s SMS (Safety Management System) shall be the foundation to which all decisions are made.

Promoting ‘integrity’ safety culture through leadership by accountability and responsibility.
The fact that no job or task is more important than our workers health and safety.
Using the SMS as a standard to be met and to ensure that we provide a higher standard of safety, security, quality and protection to people and the environment.
Effective communication on company policy and requirements through induction, trainings and company communication programs.
Providing employees with the opportunity to get involved in promoting safety, reporting injuries, incidents, and other safety related occurrences.
Ensuring that sufficient skilled trained and competent employees are available to implement the SMS.
Applying human factor principle by providing human factor training to all required persons to develop awareness, skills, and increased perception on hazard to reduce human error.

Fostering and maintaining a continuous improvement program to ensure that the SMS remains effective and relevant.
Reviewing this policy annually or more frequently in the event of organizational change in structure, personnel or following an incident with a significant risk rating. All supervisors and leaders shall commit to

Encouraging and empowering employees to report hazards or any safety occurrence.
Enforcing compliance to applicable standards in their area of accountability.
Ensuring that training needs of subordinates are met.
